AKC Registered Cocker Spaniels

Our "kids" have excelled in companionship, conformation, obedience and agility.

Sorry, we have no puppies... Please check back, and
Before
you decide on which cocker puppy to bring into your home,
I strongly suggest that you visit the American Spaniel Club's  website health page at:
http://www.asc-cockerspaniel.org/index.php/health/health-news/50-health-news/142-guidelines-for-breeding.html
You will find this to be a valuable resource with information about the
health and hereditary problems that affect the breed, and what the
responsible breeders are doing to deal with these issues.

Please do your homework before deciding on which puppy to bring into your home.
Spend time with the breeder and their dogs.  Ask lots of questions and expect the responsible breeder
to be asking lots of questions of you as well.
Check out the temperament of the parents of your potential puppy.
Ask about any health issues in the line.  At the very least, the parents of any puppy you purchase
should be over two years of age, and they should both have OFA clearances on their hips and
CERF documentation for their eyes indicating that at the time of breeding
they were clear of these hereditary  defects.  The breeder of the puppies should give you
written documentation that these tests have been done.
Even with completely healthy parents who have passed all their health tests, unfortunately there is no
guarantee that your puppy won't develop health issues down the road,
but at least you will be doing what you can to lower the possibilities.
