"Birdie" is a special joy who combines correct breed type , true sporting dog movement, and a winning attitude. She is the culmination of nearly twenty years of breeding, and she has always lived up to her impressive pedigree which includes many of the great dogs of the past. The combination that produced "Birdie", also produced eight other champions in only two litters.
During her brief career in the specials ring, "Birdie" was the #1 Black Cocker Spaniel/ All Systems and the #1 Cocker Bitch/ All Varieties for 2002. She followed in her dam's footsteps by capturing the prestigious Pedigree Award that same year. Her most amazing accomplishment was the fact that she was awarded Best of Variety at four consecutive American Spaniel Club shows. Her brothers from the second breeding, "Striper" and "Phillip", joined her in the winner's circle at the 2002 American Spaniel Club show as they went Winner's Dog and Reserve Winner's Dog from the 9-12 month puppy class.
Now, at nearly nine years of age, "Birdie" continues to be the Queen. We are once again pursuing her agility training, and she tackles it now with the same verve that she always had in the show ring. "Birdie" is truly a special gift, and I am grateful everyday that she is a part of my life

At fourteen months of age, "Beemer" crosses the finish line at the Cocker Spaniel Club of San Diego Specialty show with her third major. Sincere thanks to all the judges who have loved her as much as we do. Way to Go BEEMER !!! She will now concentrate her efforts on "bed snuggling" and training for agility.

"Goldie" was the first cocker spaniel that we acquired as a "show" dog for the conformation ring, but because she only grew to be twelve inches tall she never set a paw into the breed ring. Instead she became the first dog that I trained for competition, and she went on to find her calling in the obedience ring. She earned her AKC titles, CD and CDX, with high scores, placing in the top four ribbons at several all-breed events in addition to being awarded multiple High in Trials at specialty shows.
Best of all, Goldie loved everything. She loved training , being in the ring, people, and all other dogs. She was the sweetest and most gentle cocker I've ever known, and she was the epitome of what the cocker temperament should be.
